AN ACT CONCERNING A PLAN TO MODERNIZE THE PARKIN G
GARAGES AT COMMUTER RAIL STATIONS IN THE STATE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Commissioner of 1
Transportation shall develop a plan to modernize the parking garages 2
at commuter rail stations in the state. Not later than July 1, 2020, the 3
commissioner shall submit such plan to the joint standing committee 4
of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to 5
transportation, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of 6
the general statutes. 7
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
Section 1 from passage New section
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Commissioner of Transportation to submit a plan
regarding modernizing parking garages at commuter rail stations in
the state.
