AN ACT CONCERNING THE SELECTION OF CONSULTANTS BY THE
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 242 of the general statutes be amended to reform the 1
consultant selection process by the Department of Transportation by 2
creating more transparency and ensuring compliance with federal law, 3
including, but not limited to, the Brooks Act, 40 USC 1101 et seq. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To increase transparency when the Department of Transportation
evaluates and selects consultants.
