AN ACT ALLOWING A PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN CHARTER OAK
STATE COLLEGE AND BUSINESSES THAT OFFER FREE COLLEGE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 185b of the general statutes be amended to allow the 1
Board of Regents for Higher Education to partner with businesses that 2
offer employees free college to enroll such employees in programs of 3
study offered by Charter Oak State College in exchange for a 4
specialized rate of tuition for such businesses. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To allow partnerships between Charter Oak State College and
businesses that offer free college to their employees.
