AN ACT CONCERNING PARITY IN SEXUAL VIOLENCE
PROTECTIONS FOR PERSONS IN SPOUSAL AND COHABITATING
RELATIONSHIPS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 53a of the general statutes be amended to create parity in 1
sexual violence protections for victims who are sexually assaulted by 2
someone to whom they are married or with whom they are living. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To create parity in sexual violence protections for persons in spousal
and cohabitating relationships.
