AN ACT CONCERNING REIMBURSEMENT TO LAW ENFORCEMENT 
UNITS FOR TRAINING COSTS. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That section 7-294dd of the general statutes be amended to expand 1 
the definition of training costs for which a law enforcement unit 2 
receives reimbursement after a police officer trained by the unit later 3 
becomes employed by another law enforcement unit. 4 
Statement of Purpose:   
To ensure a law enforcement unit receives reimbursement for training 
costs after a police officer trained by the unit later becomes employed 
by another law enforcement unit.
