AN ACT CONCERNING PU BLIC SCHOOLS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Department of Education shall 1
conduct a study relating to issues affecting public schools in the state. 2
Not later than May 26, 2019, the department shall submit a report of 3
the results of such study to the joint standing committee of the General 4
Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to education, in 5
accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes. 6
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:

To require the Department of Education to study issues affecting
public schools.
