AN ACT CONCERNING AN EVALUATION OF DEPARTMENT OF
ECONOMIC AND COMMUNI TY DEVELOPMENT TAX I NCENTIVES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Commissioner of Economic 1
and Community Development shall conduct a study relating to tax 2
incentive programs administered by the Department of Economic and 3
Community Development. Not later than February 1, 2020, the 4
commissioner shall submit a report on the results of such study to the 5
joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance 6
of matters relating to commerce, in accordance with the provisions of 7
section 11-4a of the general statutes. 8
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:

Statement of Purpose:
To require the Commissioner of Economic and Community
Development to study the department's tax incentive programs.
