AN ACT CONCERNING TH E DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC AND
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMEN T AND ECONOMIC DEVEL OPMENT
ISSUES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Commissioner of Economic 1
and Community Development shall conduct a study relating to 2
economic development issues in the state. Not later than February 1, 3
2020, the commissioner shall submit a report on the results of such 4
study to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having 5
cognizance of matters relating to commerce, in accordance with the 6
provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes. 7
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:

Statement of Purpose:
To require the Commissioner of Economic and Community
Development to study economic development issues in the state.
