RESOLUTION PROPOSING A CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT
CONCERNING THE TIMING OF LEGISLATIVE ACTION.
Resolved by this Assembly:
That article third of the Constitution of the state be amended to 1
prohibit the debate, discussion or any other action concerning a bill or 2
amendment on the floor of either chamber between the hours of eleven 3
o'clock p.m. and eight o'clock a.m., except for the last day before the 4
adjournment of any regular or special session of the General 5
Assembly. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the impact of fatigue on decision-making and debate.
