AN ACT CONCERNING TWENTY -FIRST CENTURY JOBS. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That the general statutes be amended to increase tax and other 1 
financial incentives to small and large businesses in the state that (1) 2 
create new jobs, or (2) hire previously unemployed Connecticut 3 
residents. 4 
Statement of Purpose:   
To incentivize the creation of new jobs and increase employment in the 
state.
