AN ACT CONCERNING THE COPYING OF PUBLIC RECORDS UNDER
THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 1-212 of the general statutes be amended to decrease the 1
fee for copying public records to fifteen cents per page and to provide 2
no fee for records copied with a camera, cell phone or portable scanner. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the fee for copying public records and provide no fee for
copying records with a camera, cell phone or portable scanner.
