AN ACT LIMITING THE DURATION OF A RENEWAL OF THE
DECLARATION OF A PUBLIC HEALTH OR CIVIL PREPAREDNESS
EMERGENCY DURING A PANDEMIC.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That sections 19a-131a and 28-9 of the general statutes be amended to 1
limit the duration of a renewal of the Governor's declaration of a public 2
health emergency or civil preparedness emergency in the event of a 3
state-wide pandemic to not longer than a month at a time. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To limit the duration of a renewal of the declaration of a public health
or civil preparedness emergency during a pandemic to not longer than
a month.
