AN ACT CONCERNING CASH BAIL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 54-64a of the general statutes be amended to require bail 1
by ten per cent cash deposit be offered only by order of the court and 2
not automatically. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To provide that a cash bail with a deposit of ten per cent be offered only
by an order of the court and shall not be authorized automatically.
