AN ACT CONCERNING THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT SERVICES TO
VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 815 of the general statutes be amended to provide 1
enhanced support services to a victim of domestic violence by allowing 2
such victim to apply for temporary state-funded benefits without being 3
required to include a spouse's income when calculating eligibility for 4
such benefits and ninety days thereafter require a case review to verify 5
that such victim does not have access to the spouse's income. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To provide support services to victims of domestic violence.
