AN ACT CONCERNING THE VISIBILITY OF METEOROLOGICAL
EVALUATION TOWERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 15-93 of the general statutes be amended to (1) require 1
any person who owns, operates or erects a meteorological evaluation 2
tower to paint such tower in alternative bands of aviation orange and 3
white and install aviation orange marker balls and safety sleeves on any 4
related guy-wires, and (2) establish penalties for any violations. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To establish safety standards for meteorological evaluation towers and
penalties for violating such standards.
