AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING FOR THE WARNER THEATRE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the sum appropriated to the Department of Economic and 1
Community Development, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year 2
ending June 30, 2022, for grants to performing arts centers, include an 3
allocation for a grant to the Warner Theatre in Torrington that is 4
comparable to the amount of grants to other such performing arts 5
centers of similar scope and size. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To provide similar funding to the Warner Theatre in Torrington as is
provided to other performing arts centers in Connecticut that are similar
in scope and size.
