AN ACT CONCERNING ADVANCED MANUFACTURING WORKFORCE
NEEDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the Department of Economic and Community Development, in 1
conjunction with the Labor Department and the Board of Regents for 2
Higher Education, be required to develop a plan to fill advanced 3
manufacturing workforce needs in the state and submit such plan not 4
later than October 1, 2021, to the joint standing committees of the 5
General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to commerce, 6
labor and higher education and employment advancement. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To address the shortage of advanced manufacturing workers in
Connecticut.
