AN ACT INCREASING THE NUMBER OF INSTRUCTIONAL LEARNING
HOURS FOR STUDENTS DURING PERIODS OF EXTENDED
MANDATED REMOTE LEARNING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 10-16 of the general statutes be amended to increase the 1
number of hours of actual school work for students in grades 2
kindergarten to grade twelve, inclusive, during extended periods of 3
mandated remote learning by limiting the number of nonemergency 4
half-day school days. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To provide students with valuable educational learning time during
periods of extended mandated remote learning.
