GRESKO, 121st Dist. AN ACT CREATING A MUNICIPAL ENERGY SECURITY AUTHORITY. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to create a municipal energy 1 security authority within the state for purposes of designing, funding, 2 supplying, installing and servicing municipal microgrids within the 3 state to achieve: (1) Energy security objectives; (2) energy affordability; 4 (3) energy resilience; (4) carbon reduction; (5) critical infrastructure 5 security hardening; and (6) local workforce development in cooperation 6 with federal energy security policy and laws. 7 Statement of Purpose: To create a municipal energy security authority within the state.
