The amendment also changes signage requirements by 1) eliminating the hospital zone provisions, including the requisite signage for such zones, and 2) adding a requirement for a local traffic authority to post signs if it lowers a speed limit by more than 10 miles per hour. Both changes are anticipated to have a minimal fiscal impact. The remaining provisions of the amendment are technical in nature or are otherwise not anticipated to have a fiscal impact.
