AN ACT REQUIRING PUBLIC HEARINGS ON REPORTS OF THE
AUDITORS OF PUBLIC ACCOUNTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 2-92a of the general statutes be amended to make public 1
hearings on reports issued by the Auditors of Public Accounts by the 2
joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of 3
matters relating to such reports mandatory. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To promote transparency on how state agencies conduct business for
the benefit of the public.
