AN ACT CONCERNING THE USE OF COVID -19 RELIEF FUNDS TO REPLENISH THE UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION TRUST FUND. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to require that a certain portion 1 of the current or any future COVID-19 relief funds granted to the state 2 from the federal government be used to replenish the Unemployment 3 Compensation Trust Fund. 4 Statement of Purpose: To reduce the future tax burden on the state's businesses that are already struggling to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.
