AN ACT ESTABLISHING A COMMISSION TO STUDY THE IMPACT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to establish a bipartisan 1 commission to (1) analyze any disparate impact of the COVID-19 2 pandemic on different racial groups, ethnic groups and socioeconomic 3 groups in the state, (2) identify the causes for such disparate impact, and 4 (3) assess whether such disparate impact was worsened or corrected by 5 state responses to the COVID-19 pandemic. 6 Statement of Purpose: To study the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on different racial groups, ethnic groups and socioeconomic groups in the state.
