AN ACT CONCERNING THE ERADICATION OF HYDRILLA IN THE STATE'S WATERWAYS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to establish a fund for the 1 development of a coordinated management plan for eradicating 2 hydrilla in the state's waterways, including the creation of a task force 3 to develop such a plan and the possible use of benthic barriers, 4 mechanical harvesting, conservative biological controls and suction 5 guns to accomplish such eradication. 6 Statement of Purpose: To prevent the spread of invasive plants like hydrilla in the state's waterways.
