AN ACT PROHIBITING THE FEEDING OF BLACK BEARS AND
AUTHORIZING A BEAR HUNTING SEASON.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the deliberate 1
feeding of black bears and to authorize a limited bear hunting season in 2
the state. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To manage the black bear population.
