AN ACT REQUIRING FIFTY-YEAR PROJECTIONS FOR CLIMATE 
CHANGE LEGISLATION AND COST ASSESSMENTS FOR 
RESIDENTS. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That the general statutes be amended to require the inclusion of a 1 
fifty-year projection of how much global warming will be reduced and 2 
what the cost to each resident of the state is for any legislation designed 3 
to combat climate change. 4 
Statement of Purpose:   
To raise awareness of the cost-benefit analysis of climate change 
legislation and limit costs to residents of the state when there is an 
insignificant reduction in global warming from such legislation.
