AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE APPEAL OF AN ORDER ISSUED BY AN ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER DIRECTLY TO THE SUPERIOR COURT. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That chapter 435 of the general statutes be amended to require that 1 any appeal of an order issued by an animal control officer be taken to 2 the Superior Court rather than to the Department of Agriculture. 3 Statement of Purpose: To expedite appeals of animal control officer orders and minimize the time impounded animals are held at taxpayer expense.
