AN ACT CONCERNING VACANCIES IN CONSTITUTIONAL
EXECUTIVE BRANCH OFFICES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 9-213 of the general statutes be amended to provide that, 1
in the event of any vacancy in the office of the Secretary of the State, 2
Comptroller, Attorney General or Treasurer, the manner in which such 3
vacancy is filled shall be uniform for all such offices. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To align for all constitutional executive branch offices the manner in
which any vacancy therein is filled.
