AN ACT CONCERNING THE TREASURER AND UNCLAIMED
PROPERTY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 32 of the general statutes be amended to require 1
additional public notice of abandoned property that has been 2
transferred to the Treasurer, to require the Treasurer to give notice to 3
municipalities which have property that has escheated to the state and 4
to authorize the Treasurer to accept electronic claim forms. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To require additional public notice of abandoned property that has been
transferred to the Treasurer, to require the Treasurer to give notice to
municipalities which have property that has escheated to the state and
to authorize the Treasurer to accept electronic claim forms.
