AN ACT PROTECTING CONSUMER COMMERCIAL DATA.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 21a of the general statutes be amended to require consumers 1
be notified and given the opportunity to grant knowing consent prior to 2
the sale or use for commercial purposes of such consumers' data when 3
collected by an entity engaged in Internet commerce. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To protect the rights of consumer commercial data.
