AN ACT CONCERNING PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENT FOR CERTAIN
FIRST-TIME HOME BUYERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to authorize municipalities to 1
abate up to five hundred dollars of property taxes per assessment year 2
for up to five assessment years for first-time home buyers obtaining a 3
loan from the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To authorize municipalities to abate up to five hundred dollars of
property taxes per assessment year for certain first-time home buyers
obtaining a loan from the Connecticut Housing Finance Authority.
