AN ACT CONCERNING A YOUTH SUICIDE PREVENTION PILOT
PROGRAM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of 1
Children and Families and the Office of the Child Advocate to establish 2
a youth suicide prevention pilot program to provide suicide prevention 3
training to school employees and employees of youth service bureaus, 4
youth-serving organizations, operators of youth athletic activities and 5
municipal social service agencies. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Department of Children and Families and the Office of
the Child Advocate to establish a youth suicide prevention pilot
program.
