AN ACT CONCERNING THE REMOVAL OF THE OFFICE OF THE
OMBUDSMAN FROM WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN AND
FAMILIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to remove the Office of the 1
Ombudsman from the Department of Children and Families and 2
establish an independent Office of the Ombudsman. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To establish an independent Office of the Ombudsman.
