AN ACT CONCERNING FIRE DISTRICTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 105 of the general statutes be amended to allow any fire 1
district, by vote of its board of directors and in certain limited 2
circumstances, to assess a safety fee on certain nonprofit organizations 3
located within such fire district, excluding houses of religious worship 4
and hospitals, for certain services provided by such fire district. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To allow fire districts in limited circumstances to assess a safety fee on
certain nonprofit organizations, excluding houses of religious worship
and hospitals, for the provision of certain services.
