AN ACT CONCERNING THE CONSTRUCTION OF SIDEWALKS ON
CERTAIN STATE ROUTES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 238 of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
Commissioner of Transportation to construct a sidewalk on any state 2
route when in the commissioner's opinion public safety, pedestrian 3
traffic or population density so requires and such state route is being 4
reconstructed. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To require the construction of sidewalks on certain state routes.
