AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING FOR ALLIANCE DISTRICTS THAT OFFER EARLY COLLEGE OPPORTUNITIES. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to provide funding to 1 school districts designated as alliance districts, pursuant to section 10-2 262u of the general statutes, whose alliance district plan includes early 3 college opportunities for students to earn credits toward an associate 4 degree while enrolled in high school. 5 Statement of Purpose: To create a larger college student population which is necessary to fill positions in high-tech industries in the state.
