AN ACT CONCERNING THE FUNDING FOR CHARTER SCHOOLS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That (1) section 10-262h of the general statutes be amended to include 1
the funding of charter schools in the equalization aid grant formula; and 2
(2) section 10-66ee of the general statutes be amended to permit charter 3
schools to charge tuition to local and regional boards of education. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To include charter schools in the education cost-sharing grant formula
and to permit charter schools to charge tuition.
