Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to prohibit those who are found 1 guilty of animal cruelty from ever again possessing an animal as a pet 2 or for any other purpose. 3 Statement of Purpose: To provide protection for animals by preventing repeat offenses of animal cruelty.
