AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE TO REPLACE THE
BRIDGE ON LANTERN HILL ROAD OVER WHITFORD BROOK ON
THE BORDER BETWEEN NORTH STONINGTON AND LEDYARD.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
____ dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the Department of 4
Transportation for the purpose of replacing the bridge on Lantern Hill 5
Road over Whitford Brook, on the border between North Stonington 6
and Ledyard. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding to replace the bridge on Lantern Hill Road over
Whitford Brook, on the border between North Stonington and Ledyard.
