AN ACT CONCERNING THE DATE FOR AN EXTENDED GRACE
PERIOD FOR DEFERMENT OF PROPERTY TAXES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the date set forth in Executive Order 9R, issued by Governor 1
Ned Lamont on December 16, 2020, through which a municipality 2
participating in the Deferral Program shall offer to eligible taxpayers, 3
businesses, nonprofits and residents an extended grace period for 4
deferment of certain taxes, be extended further for property taxes. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To extend further, for property taxes, the date set forth in Executive
Order 9R issued by Governor Ned Lamont for which a municipality
participating in the Deferral Program shall offer an extended grace
period for deferment.
