AN ACT CONCERNING AUDITS OF ELECTION PROCEDURES AND
EQUIPMENT AND REVIEWS OF ELECTION LAWS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 9 of the general statutes be amended to require (1) an 1
independent audit, including members of the public, of any hired 2
contractors, appointed election officials and other staff, procedures, 3
hardware, software and registry lists and other materials used in 4
administering elections; and (2) a periodic review of election laws. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To require (1) an independent audit of various equipment and persons
involved in election administration, and (2) a periodic review of election
laws.
