AN ACT CONCERNING STATEMENTS OF FINANCIAL INTERESTS BY
LEGISLATORS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 1-83 of the general statutes be amended to include 1
siblings, spouses and parents of members of the General Assembly in 2
annual statements of financial interests by such members. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To include siblings, spouses and parents of legislators in statements of
financial interests under the code of ethics for public officials.
