AN ACT CONCERNING STATE CONTRACTS ASSOCIATED WITH A
DECLARATION OF EMERGENCY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require that during a 1
declaration of a civil preparedness or public health emergency, any state 2
contracts associated with such emergency shall be submitted for review 3
and approval to the General Assembly prior to being entered into by a 4
state agency. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To require the approval of the General Assembly for contracts
associated with a declaration of emergency.
