AN ACT WITHDRAWING CONNECTICUT FROM THE AGREEMENT AMONG THE STATES TO ELECT THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES BY NATIONAL POPULAR VOTE. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That section 9-175a of the general statutes be repealed, withdrawing 1 the state from the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact. 2 Statement of Purpose: To withdraw the state from the Agreement Among the States to Elect the President of the United States by National Popular Vote.
