AN ACT CONCERNING THE IMPORTATION OF PRESCRIPTION
DRUGS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow the Department of 1
Consumer Protection to import prescription drugs on a wholesale basis 2
from Canada for purposes of providing consumers with a cost-saving 3
alternative for prescription drugs. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To lower the cost of prescription drugs.
