AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TAX CREDIT FOR BUSINESSES THAT
MATCH AN EMPLOYEE'S STUDENT LOAN PAYMENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 12 of the general statutes be amended to establish a tax 1
credit, capped at a fixed amount, for businesses that match payments 2
made by an employee toward his or her student loan. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a tax credit for businesses that match an employee's student
loan payment.
