AN ACT REINSTITUTING THE MUNICIPAL HOUSING VOUCHER
PROGRAM TO PREVENT HOMELESSNESS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 128 of the general statutes be amended to reinstitute the 1
municipal voucher program and require municipalities to issue housing 2
vouchers to residents at risk of homelessness due to certain 3
circumstances such as a death in the family, disability or lost 4
employment. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To prevent homelessness in the state.
