AN ACT PROHIBITING A MINOR FROM ENTERING INTO A
MARRIAGE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 46b-20a of the general statutes be amended to prohibit 1
any person under eighteen years of age from entering into a marriage. 2
Statement of Purpose:
To ban the marriage of minors with no exceptions.
