AN ACT EXPANDING THE DEFINITION OF FAMILY VIOLENCE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 46b-38a of the general statutes be amended to expand 1
the definition of family violence to include nonphysical actions such as 2
isolation, intimidation, financial abuse and more. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To expand the definition of family violence in domestic violence
determinations.
