AN ACT REMOVING REQUIREMENTS TO PAY A PREVAILING WAGE
IN STATE AND MUNICIPAL CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to remove all requirements to 1
pay a prevailing wage in state and municipal construction contracts, 2
except when required by the Davis-Bacon Act. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce costs to municipalities and the state by removing any
prevailing wage requirements from state and municipal construction
contracts.
